MT. LEMMON

FIRE STATION

Built for a Mountain Community

The Mt. Lemmon Fire Station is a critical public safety facility designed to support emergency response, fire protection, and community resilience in one of Southern Arizona's most unique environments. Serving residents, visitors, and first responders on Mount Lemmon, the station provides modern operational space that enhances readiness while supporting the daily demands of a year-round mountain community.

Purpose-built to meet the challenges of a remote, high-elevation setting, the facility strengthens emergency response capabilities and ensures firefighters have the resources needed to protect lives, property, and the surrounding forest for years to come.

Designed for Resilience.

Delivered with Precision.

Constructed in a demanding mountain environment, the Mt. Lemmon Fire Station was designed to withstand harsh conditions while providing a durable, efficient home for emergency operations.

Working closely with the design team, Lloyd identified a layout revision that eliminated the need for costly slope reinforcement and a retaining wall along the site's drop-off edge, reducing costs without compromising function or safety. Combined with careful planning and coordination, the result is a resilient public safety facility built to serve the Mt. Lemmon community for years to come.
