BENSON UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT

K-4 CLASSROOM ADDITION

Expanding Opportunities for Young Learners

The Benson Elementary K-4 Addition is an 18,000-square-foot expansion designed to support a growing student population while enhancing the daily learning environment. The new facility includes eight classrooms, a multipurpose room, restrooms, and essential support spaces, along with new shade structures and turf improvements that create welcoming outdoor areas for students and staff.

Planned to integrate seamlessly with the existing campus, the addition provides flexible educational space while strengthening the school's ability to serve the Benson community for years to come.

Built Around Students.

Delivered with Discipline.

Constructed on an occupied elementary campus, the project required careful planning to maintain student safety and uninterrupted school operations. A site-specific safety plan, alternate construction access, just-in-time material deliveries, and close coordination with school administrators minimized impacts throughout construction.

By scheduling disruptive work around testing and school activities while proactively managing long-lead materials, the project was completed on time and within budget, delivering a high-quality learning environment with minimal disruption to campus life.
